Woocommerce – best image resolution

Hi, I’m just giving this template a try on a site I’m building and have a question regarding images in Woocommerce.

I have used a product image – see here:

which looks blurry on pc but pretty OK on my phone. Original image size is 500px wide, 759 high and 72dpi.

Is there a style guide anywhere that will tell me what the best options are for product images?

Hmm, I’ve just seen how the link was rendered and it looks a bit spammy, sorry! This is a genuine request for help, not a dodgy sales trick 🙂

Seems like your image size is a bit small, can you once try uploading larger size image about 1920 x 1080. This might solve your problem.

Thank you for the reply – will the template automatically resize the image on the page so the file size is not over large? If not, what sort of file size (kb) should I be aiming for?

Yes, that image will be resized. [kb] that depends on you just keep in mind that larger file might increase the site load time.
