Thumbnails with square aspect ratio

Hi guys,

Thanks for the beautiful theme! I’d like to use square aspect ratio for the thumbnails. I tried with woocommerce Product image customization crop function in Customize theme panel with no results. How can I achieve to set product thumbnails square aspect ratio? The reason is that some product picture will have a landscape and other in portrait aspect ratio which reflects on the home page which is not eye pleasing.

Hi @JohnCarter,

You can upload all images of same size. For example if you upload images for all product of 600x600px you will get all similar sized images on the site.

So it will be better if you resize images first and use on the site.

That’s not really a good option as the padding, be it vertical or horizontal will also gives a jerky look to the home page and category view in general. I am working on it and got some blurry result, I would appreciate your guidance.
