I’ve encountered a weird bug when setting a static front page. If I go to Customize > Static Front Page, and set Front Page Displays to a static page, the content of the page will display, but it’s url (www.example.com/home) will not be the site url(www.example.com). If I go to Settings > Reading, and set Front Page Displays to a static page, the content of the page will not display anymore, but it’s url be the site url(www.example.com). I can’t seem to figure out how to set a front page display that shows the content, and has the site url (www.example.com). Please help me figure out how to set the front page to a static page.

Can you please share your site URL? When page is set is supposed to be example.com rather than example.com/my-home-page. Please share us more info and we will investigate.

    Hello Axle Support,

I’m having an issue with the static front page. I’m using elementor to build the page. In the beginning editing with elementor on the home page was fine. After I published the page didn’t show up on the front page of my website. Now when I tried to edit the home page again, it said

“Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

There is a link for the explanation

    https://docs.elementor.com/article/56-content-area-not-found?utm_source=editor-panel&utm_medium=wp-dash&utm_campaign=learn

Can you guide me where to correctly put the code into your template?
