Plugin Fails to load in Word Press

I purchased Magazine Point Pro. for use on a PC using Google Chrome browser

Tried to upload zip, but the installation failed.

Now what?

I need to answer my own question. I tried to upload it as a plugin, not as a new theme. My bad. It loaded just fine as a theme.

I’ve downloaded the pro file from the website, but it just downloads as a normal folder not a .zip

This means that when I try to upload it as a theme, it simply opens the folder instead of uploading the .zip file. I have no idea how to change it into something that can upload into WordPress and none of the folders/files inside seem to work.

What should I have done instead?

p.s. this is downloading to a Mac running Safari if that affects the price of fish.
