    I only have one image I’d like to use in the SiteOrigin Hero… but the navigation dot remains. Any way to get rid of this dot?

    Please go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and add following custom CSS to hide it

    .home #page .sow-slider-pagination {
    display: none!important;
}

    Hope it will work for you.
