Change Static Front Page

    I created a new Page say HOME2 and added widgets to the side bar. But when i want to change the static front page from the default HOME to the new created page HOME2, the site does not update the front page. It redirects to the old HOME. My query now is how i can get to change the static front page so that the site loads HOME2 and not HOME.
