Static front page is blank

Hi,

Just trying out your Business Club (free) theme. When I choose to Customize the theme and select “Static Front Page”, and choose a page it doesn’t render the content area. It does render the header and footer.

This is WordPress 4.7.2

I think that you can only add widgets to the static front page.

There’s a Text/HTML widget you can add:
Widgets > Front Page Widget Area > Drag in the ‘Text’ widget.

You can add a title and text or HTML in the widget.

I just tried this and it works.

Yes, when after setting static front page, you can add widgets in Front Page Widget Area. Several widgets are available in the theme. And also you can use other plugins with widgets to display in front page.
